Problem Solving
We deal with these problems by employing the best minds and equipment. Some features of our industrial tank cleaning robots include:
- Various robot sizes, ranging from 19 inches to 48 inches, constructed with stainless steel to resist corrosion even in caustic or acidic environments.
- Robots can be configured with brush or steel augers and blades. Attached equipment can spin, agitate, and feed onboard submersible pumps to remove sludge and debris.
- Sciphyn operators use overlays so to see in all directions and overcome unexpected obstacles or debris.
- An underwater cable system that utilizes military-grade equipment and has been tested to work reliably at a depth of 100 feet.
Project Footprint
In terms of other equipment, an average project requires space for a 24 foot trailer, space for our proprietary dewatering boxes, and room for generators. That’s a much smaller footprint than a traditional tank cleaning crew would require, minimizing the disruption to your operations. We typically rely on customer-supplied polymers and cleaning chemicals when needed.

Robotic Sludge Removal
Our Micro-Dredging sludge removal robots can clean in spaces where human divers can't; including submerged spaces with toxic chemicals or restricted access. We remove, dewater, and dispose of your sludge while you remain in full operation - no shutdown required.
ROV Visual Inspections
With our high-performance ROVs, we comprehensively evaluate and record the underwater structural condition of a tank or basin to evaluate structural integrity, corrosion, and sediment distribution. Our visual inspections include a full written report and recorded video documentation.
Sludge Mapping
Using robots and sonar, we provide a detailed 3D map showing sludge and sediment distribution throughout your tank, pond or basin and a comprehensive report outlining all of the collected data. All of this can be done without shutting down.
Ultrasonic Thickness Data Collection
By combining our Micro-Dredging sludge removal services, ROV visual inspection, and U/T data collection capabilities, we provide all of the information an inspector will need for certain NFPA and API inspection standards without having to take the tank out of service.
